"Besides being talented in creativity, communication, and technical development, Sarah is also excellent in translating my intangible ideas and bringing them to life. Most importantly, she is able to meet deadlines where critical timeframes are asked of her." –Deb Addis, Instructor, Sales Education, Global Training and Development, Diebold, Inc.
My Philosophy...
writing as a journey
I approach all writing as a means to bring forward your project's unique aspects and purpose.
To reach your audience through writing, I follow a number of principles.
I listen
At the beginning of each project I ask question upon question. Then I listen and take note of your answer. We'll talk about features and benefits, what motivates your audience, goals and objectives, your business image and how you want to portray yourself. After you have told me everything you can about your business, your ideas, and your goals, we move on to the next step.
I explore
Research is one of the most important parts of writing. I ask you to send all the documents you have on your product, service or business. This information includes websites, brochures, press releases and articles - really anything that has been written about you and is relevant to the project. Then I scour the documents and pull out everything that may be beneficial.
I use logic
Next, I compile all the information from research and interviews and begin to form an outline of the content. I determine how the copy should flow, how best to reach your audience, and how to construct the content.
I bring creativity
With an outline in hand, I begin the writing process. I bring creativity, a fresh perspective and an elegant writing style to every project.
I deliver
I deliver the final project on time and within the project scope. I pride myself on my commitment, my reliability and my dedication. I want every client to be satisfied and I work hard to achieve that goal.
